Job Overview

As a Concessions Booth Operator, you will:

• Setup: Helpset up and break down at event locations.

• Customer Service: Serve Gelu Italian Ice with a smile, handle payments, and promote the Gelu brand.

• Event Support: Manage on-site promotions, distribute business cards, gather customer reviews, and complete post-event checklists.

 You will be placed in a pool of employees and will have the opportunity to pick up events on a first-come, first-serve basis.

 

Responsibilities

• Booth Operations: Get to events, set up the booth, and ensure the area is set up to company policy.

• Sales & Service: Scoop Italian Ice, process transactions, and provide friendly customer interactions.

• Promotions & Cleanup: Assist with on-site promotions and clean up after events.

• Financial Duties: Split cash tips and complete final checklists, ensuring food safety standards.

• Transport: Use your vehicle to pick up and transport booth items to and from events.

 

Qualifications​

• Availability: Flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand long periods and lift up to 45 pounds.

• Skills: Excellent customer service, basic math, strong communication, attention to detail, and a team-oriented attitude.
